In Tezpur, Assam, the spotlight shone on the ground as actors Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor graced a meet-and-greet event while filming for their latest project, Fighter. The aerial action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand and featuring Deepika Padukone, commenced its first schedule on November 18. Pictures and videos circulating on social media captured Hrithik and Anil warmly acknowledging a multitude of fans.

Reportedly, the Fighter team meticulously planned a 10-day schedule, during which Hrithik, Deepika, and Anil filmed scenes at the air force station. The film will showcase Hrithik and Deepika, appearing as Indian Air Force pilots for the first time, while Anil is expected to portray the mentor of the War star.

Fighter marks Siddharth Anand’s third collaboration with Hrithik Roshan, following the 2014 action film Bang Bang and the 2019 blockbuster War. Both Anil and Hrithik had theatrical releases earlier in the year, with Jug Jugg Jeeyo and Vikram Vedha, respectively, while Deepika made her OTT debut with Gehraiyaan.

Following the completion of Fighter’s first schedule, the team is set to regroup next year as Siddharth Anand dives into his highly anticipated action film, Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Scheduled for release on January 25, the film also features Deepika in a prominent role.
